This is the corridor that separates the staff room from the clasrooms. The walls of this room are the original walls from when Osashima Elementary School was newly built in 1935. At 10 a.m., Oct. 10, 1935, a ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the new scool.

Well, here you will find displays of Bikky’s death mask, the foreign coin ring he wore on his left pinky and his funerary urn. The death mask was made on Jan. 25, 1989, by Bikky’s artist friends.

On this night, Bikky died at Aiiku Hospital in Sapporo and his body was returned to Atelier 3 More.

The ring and urn were donated by Bikky’s oldest daughter, Chinita.

Chinita stored Bikky’s remains in this urn and carefully safeguarded them in her home. However, on Oct. 7, 2006, she buried them near the roots of the big Japanese spruce known as Bikky’s tree in Hokkaido University’s Nakagawa Experimental Forest and put up a grave post there.
